In 24 hours I'll be on a plane. The list of things I need to get done between now and then is long, but I'm not as panicked as I expected to be. Of course, it is earlier than 5am and I am awake for no particular reason, which might speak for itself.
Two months isn't very long in the grand scheme of things, it's true. It's a summer. It's a quarter. It's the blink of an eye in a lifetime of experiences and moments. But, for me, it's huge. It's a journey. It's a chance to challenge myself to see the world and take from it what I can. And I don't take that for granted for one second.
It is hard to leave the familiar behind. But the world is waiting for me, and I want to see it.

xoxo
Yes we do expect to hear and see often. Fly safe and enjoy your "vacation". OX
This sounds like a WONDERFUL opportunity to try new things! I popped over via The Geek Inside and you have now been bookmarked and I will add you to my blogroll if it's ok with you. Hope to see many pictures and read many details. Have a great trip!
Learned of this from Geek also. have a good time! I've not been in Switzerland, but Germany, and I remember so much of it even so long ago
Interesting that Switzerland has the three official languages. I wonder if there is (and you might meet) a trilingual speaker in French, German and Italian.
Of course their command of English is probably far better than most Americans command of English, l;et alone any other tongue.
enjoy Europe!
What an adventure and an amazing opportunity. I'm not home right now, but when I get back, I look forward to checking in!
